spring break travels

It is spring break here in the local schools. Friday afternoon Sarah and Racheal flew up to stay with their other parents, grandparents, and cousins for a week. Kyle and Madison are also visiting with extended family. So instead of having 4 kids, child-free Melissa flew up to New York to visit with in-laws and to be a tourist for a few days.

She called this evening saying they had been to a Broadway show and she had gotten the autograph of Zorro! After being questioned by her dad, she said no, Antonio Banderas was not singing and dancing on stage, but was in the audience 4 rows in front of her! Hopefully the autograph is on paper and she is not permanently scarred by a sword!

Following the show, they were on their way to try some New York pizza and cheesecake, and maybe take in the Statue of Liberty.
