Wow, day 15 of our vacation - that is a first, we just broke our previous vacation length record of 2 weeks.
Today was a travel day from East Glacier to West Glacier, around the park the long way because they will not allow vehicles/trailer combinations over 21' total on the Going to the Sun Road, but it didn't take too long.
No fences - On the way we had to share the road with the free range cows and horses. The guidebook says when traveling on the roads outside the park (which is in the Blackfeet Reservation) to go slow and be aware, unless you want a cow imprint on your grill.
Did you know - that a PBJ tastes better after a day in a hot truck? We have been pretty much living on PBJs, at least once a day. It is the only sandwich that can make that claim - especially not a ham sandwich...
After traveling and dodging free range animals and settling into our new campsite and getting groceries, we took a short trip over to Lake McDonald. Soothing smooth water, and love those rocks!
