Lots of walking paths/trails here. I walked along the Arkansas River on the Discovery Trail. It is the plains, it is flat! A good thing for an out of shape walker like me.
Park for free, make one of the many loop trails and arrive back at your car. Learn some local history by reading the walking path signs. Enjoy the sunshine and river and all the things to see along the way.
