"The west Wichita Chick-fil-A countdown got off to a symbolic start Tuesday with a ground-breaking celebration for the restaurant at 21st and Maize.

The restaurant’s owner-operator, Jason Lansdown, dug into the dirt with his wife, Linda, and daughters, Lyla, 3, and Elise, 5.
