We love about 40 mins or so from there (We live in the country in Maryville). We picnic on a rock that goes out into the water around one of the corners people seem to wipe out by:-). We have given many lifts due to paddle loss *giggles*. Nantahala is where my family went on vacations every year when I was a kid.
