RV re-do

Camper life... so I needed a project. How about new curtains?

Started taking down the heavy upholstered cornices, the blue and gold curtains. Buddy says, "And why are we doing this?" I told him it was a girl thing, sometimes you just need new curtains :)

Searched all over for fabric, the quilt store and Hancocks and Joanns... nothing jumped out and said Buy Me until I found this fabric at WalMart:

With 11 windows in the camper, I had already figured I would need about 15 yards, and found 7 yards at one store, then went to 3 or 4 more stores before finding the rest. I really liked the colors and the price $3.97, but I knew for certain it was for me when this happened:

As usual there was no one at the fabric cutting table, eventually the man from the paint department came to the rescue. I told him I wanted the whole bolt and he looked dismayed, "You mean I have to measure out the whole thing?" But the lady in line next to me told him she would figure it out and proceeded to count the times the fabric wound around the bolt, said it was 3 yards. She looked at me and asked if I was okay with that or did I want it measured out. I was definitely okay, as I knew there was more than 3 yards. I couldn't wait to get home to see that it was actually 6 yards!

I wanted something different for the kitchen, and looked long and hard at this one online:

but since the LR/DR/Kitchen is basically all one room, figured it might be a bit much, so I used the same fabric throughout the camper, and added a contrasting valance to the kitchen curtains. I went to the local quilt shop for the Coke fabric and told the lady what I was doing, she said I shouldn't mix two prints like that... but hey it is my kitchen, so mixing I did.

All the curtains are now done, what can I get into next?
