When asked what he wanted for his birthday, Buddy said, "I want to get this job finished and to go eat at the Varsity, a couple of dogs, rings, and peach fried pie."
So that is what he got, well, not finishing his current project for him, but all the rest, plus some chocolate cake and kids and grandkids gathered around. Thanks to the cake-bakers next door (what happened to that first cake y'all made again?) and to Carrie and Daniel for 'handling' the pickup of his birthday present and delivering it down to the lower falls. Looking forward to a family outing down there soon!
