what's on your plate?

The ATC is trying to get the initial $25,000 to start production on the new Georgia Appalachian Trail license plates, requesting $25 each from hopefully 1000 interested applicants…

I found out about this from the website of our local hiking store - North Georgia Mountain Outfitters - a great place to shop and extra nice folks there!

With the purchase of a specialty A.T. plate in your state, a portion of the cost of the plate is returned to the ATC for its work to manage and maintain the A.T. The current program in North Carolina has raised over $330,000. ~ATC

Just wondering.....do prisoners not make licence plates any more? Lets see, room, board, food, library, exercise room, is there any work going on?

Hmmm, I wonder if you actually have to hike the Trail to get one? Anyway, I think this would look great on my vehicle, don't you?
