Buddy has been busy building yet another bank. It has just been just 3 months since the vacant lot began its transformation. First things first - when building a bank, you start with the vault. And last things last, the punch list.
Today the architect and owner will come to do a walk-through and make a punch list. Not one of Buddy's favorite days. In addition to his favorite architect coming, also the seldom-seen owner of his company will be there.
Buddy got up at 4, donned his still crisp company shirt (the ones that are given out and never worn, the impractical kind of shirt with only one pocket and no pocket flap to hold in all your stuff) "Who picks out these shirts? They are for people who don't work for a living!" Thus started this day, grumbling all the way to the door.
But it will all turn out fine, it always does. He will be heaped with praise on a job well done and on time. He always finishes on time, no matter what it takes, we call him The Closer.
When it is all done there will be a big sigh and no more grumbling, well 'til the next job. Hey, that's why they call it a job!
