superbowl reflections

Banner- SuperBowl XLI Reflections Of Screen

Got the t-shirt - hundreds of kids in developing nations will get a new t-shirt thanks to the Superbowl and are celebrating the victory of the Chicago Bears. T-shirts and hats are made up for each team, ready for the winners to wear just seconds after the game is over. The apparel for the losing team is boxed up and sent to those in need of clothes.

When in Rome - Superbowl XLI - what's up with the Roman Numerals? Does anyone use those anymore? Does anyone know what they mean? Do they even teach this is school?

What's in a name? Love some of the names of the football players - Tank, Booger.

It's raining men - oops forgot the comma - It's raining, men. The question comes to mind while watching the game - Why do over 70,000 people not have enough sense to come in out of the rain?

'Round the watercooler - why do we really watch the game? It is probably the only show on TV where folks watch just for the commercials. Or is it an excuse to pig out on snack foods? (Antacid sales go up 20% on Superbowl Monday). Or is it to be able to join in that common topic around the water cooler at work?

Do folks really gather around the water cooler? If I had a real job and we had a watercooler, maybe these are some of the things we would discuss, but for now we can gather 'round this online virtual water cooler...
