third time is the charm

Our niece, Heidi, graduated from college yesterday (again… for the third time). We tease about her being a professional student (age 31), but she is very smart and we are proud of her. We wish her good luck in the next phase of her life (no job yet).

Over the years she has had several goals in mind - astronaut, genetic engineering (peanuts?), youth minister. She now has a plan of what she wants to do next (vacation) in the form of Outreach Ministry, and will be working toward that goal (donations welcome).

So, Heidi, TODAY is the first day of the rest of your life! A life without school, classes, professors, required reading and writing. I know you will miss it (yeah right), but just throw your mortarboard into the air and go for it! All kidding aside, we are proud of you and are here for you always, right next door.

Third time is the charm. - German proverb

Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be. - George Sheehan

If it's a job worth doing, then do it right. - Hugh Lee Tidwell, Sr. - your great-grandfather (from My Memories by Marguerite Tidwell Burr)
